Why does my corolla 2008 crank when hot but no start till it cools?
First symptom was engine light turned on, drove the car for some time like that , then it cut off while driving, it started after cooling.
Fuel pump was replaced with original, after that no more cutting off while driving.
But now it starts cold but but not when hot although it cranks, once it cools it starts.
Noticeable gas smell sometimes while driving and by the tank area after is hot, but no evidence of leaks any where.
Engine light is still on, sometimes goes off but is mostly on.
