Hi Mugsie! You were asking if you needed an adapter for your new headlights, correct? It's possible you may need one depending on the type of headlights you purchased and the specifications of your Audi A6.
I suggest checking the specifications of your new headlights and compare them with your car's original headlights. If there are any differences in size or shape, or if the new headlights require a different connector than the original headlights, then you might need an adapter.
You can also consult with an experienced mechanic to determine if an adapter is necessary, just to be 100% certain.
It's important to ensure that your new headlights are properly installed and functioning correctly for your safety and the safety of others on the road. Hope this helps!

Hi Mugsie.
Just to add regarding your concern about the headlights you ordered: Please know there are a few uncommon cases where connectors don't line up. Sometimes the cause depends on the vehicle's country of origin.
Given that, I think you do need an adaptor. Currently, we have in stock two connector types that can be suitable for your headlights. You can view them by clicking on this link.
Have a nice day!
