- Try checking/pulling the fuse for the security system (fuse 9)
- Try checking/pulling the fuse for the power locks (fuse 2, fuse 13, fuse 20) as a faulty switch can trip up the system.
- Try disconnecting the battery's negative terminal and wait about five minutes, then re-connect and try again.
- If desperate, there is a green/orange wire under the steering wheel. Splicing into it and grounding it should disable the security system.
