you can really install it just around anywhere metal that isn't painted. Some common ones are near the rear bumper, in the fuel cap area, and any of the car frame (especially near the rear wheels). Just be sure to place it on bare metal

Hey there!
Dealing with those static shocks can be a real zap, huh? A quick fix for that is slapping on a static strip. Easy peasy.
Grab one and peel off the backing to expose the adhesive side. Now, find a good spot under your car – usually, folks stick it near the edge of the body or on the metal part of the frame. Just make sure it's clean and dry.
Clean the area, press that strip on, and give it a good firm pat. The metal-on-metal action helps the static chill out instead of zapping you.
That's it – shock therapy for your Trailblazer. Say goodbye to the jolts when you step out.

Install the static strip on the back of your Trailblazer, near the rear bumper. Choose a clean metal surface, secure it tightly with the provided hardware, and ensure it makes contact with the ground when parked. This helps reduce static electricity and minimizes shocks when exiting the vehicle.
