Of the few remaining minivan models in the United States, the Chrysler Pacifica continues to be a solid choice for customers. And for the 2021 model year, Chrysler is giving buyers more reason to pick the vehicle.

Despite the slight price increase of $1,000 for the base Touring model, the new Pacifica offers more standard safety features for a starting price of $36,540. It includes the Uconnect 5 infotainment system that comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and is also offered as standard equipment across the lineup.

For customers who prefer luxurious add-ons, Chrysler is offering a top-end “living room on wheels” to the highest trim level. Named the Pacifica Pinnacle, it is furnished with a wood-trimmed interior, special suede, and Nappa leather trimmings. The model has a starting price of $54,885.

Sandwiched by the Touring and Pinnacle variants is the entry-level hybrid model that gets a retail price of $41,490, followed by the Pinnacle hybrid at $52,340.

Chrysler is also offering an all-wheel-drive setup on the two lower trims—the Touring and Touring L—for an additional charge of $2,995. But for higher levels—the Limited and the Pinnacle—it is available as standard equipment.

In terms of safety tech, the Pacifica boasts of a Safety Sphere package that comes with a 360-degree camera, front park assist, as well as parallel and perpendicular park assist. It also features a FamCam interior camera that allows front-seat passengers to see children in rear-facing child seats in the second row of the vehicle, plus a 19-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system. The FamCam interior cam is offered as an option on other variants, while the hybrid model gets a total of 20 speakers in the audio system.

For customers who would rather spend less on a family vehicle, Chrysler is offering the more ‘budget-friendly” Voyager with a starting price of $28,730.

Both models are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers up to 287 horsepower and is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid, meanwhile, makes 260 horsepower with the same engine, two electric motors, and a 16.0-kWh lithium-ion battery.
