Set up

Turn your engine off and set the parking brake.

To replace the tail light on your vehicle, you need to open the tail gate.

Chapter 2:

Remove the tail light housing

To detach the taillight assembly from the vehicle body, remove the two screws with a ratchet and an 8mm socket.

Then pull it out to the rear to disengage the locator pins from their housing in the rear fender.

To remove the 3 bulb sockets from the taillight housing, turn them counterclockwise and pull them out.

You can now remove the tail light.

Put the tail light housing back

Take the new tail light.

Put the sockets into the taillight housing and turn them clockwise to lock them in place.
