Access to the tail lights
To access and replace the tail light bulbs, you’ll need to open the car’s tailgate and take out the rear light housing. Open the tailgate.

Take out the headlight assembly
To detach the taillight assembly from the vehicle body, remove the two screws with a ratchet and an 8mm socket.

Then pull it out to the rear to disengage the locator pins from their housing in the rear fender.

To remove the brake/taillight bulb socket from the taillight housing, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out.

Repeat the same procedure for the turn signal and reverse light bulbs.
You can now remove the light.

Replace the tail light bulbs
Each bulb is removed in the same way: by simply pulling it out.

Take the new bulb.

To reassemble, repeat the process but in reverse. Repeat the same procedure for the other two bulbs.

Tips
To increase the lifespan of the bulbs, we would suggest never touching the glass with your fingers or cleaning them carefully with paper towels before putting them back.
Install the headlight assembly
Put the sockets into the taillight housing and turn them clockwise to lock them in place.

The light is held in place by studs encased directly in the car body. Put the light back in.

Screw the two holding screws back in.

Operation complete.
