Set up
Turn your engine off, set the parking brake and pull on the trunk release lever
Access the bulbs
To access the tail lightbulbs in the car body, remove the plastic hook.
Next, using a fork, remove the 2 retaining rivets from the plastic trunk sill trim by prying their central parts.
Then shift the trunk carpet.
Tips
To increase the lifespan of the bulbs, we would suggest never touching the glass with your fingers or cleaning them carefully with paper towels before putting them back.
Replace turn signal bulb
To remove the turn signal bulb socket from the taillight housing, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out.
Simply pull the bulb out to remove it.
Take the new bulb.
Put the new light bulb in the socket.
Put the socket into the taillight housing and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Replace the tail light bulbs
To remove the brake/taillight bulb socket from the taillight housing, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out.
Simply pull the bulb out to remove it.
Take the new bulb.
Put the new light bulb in the socket.
Put the socket into the taillight housing and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
Finalise the reassembly
Put the trunk carpet and plastic trim back in place.
Put the 2 rivets back in place.
Put the hook back in place.
Replace the reverse light bulb
To access the reverse light bulb located in the tailgate, remove the carpet retaining rivets by prying their central parts using a fork.
Then shift the carpet.
To remove the light bulb socket from the taillight housing, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out.
Simply pull the bulb out to remove it.
Take the new bulb.
To reassemble, repeat the process but in reverse.
Finalise the reassembly
Put the carpet back in place. Put the 2 rivets back in place.
Operation complete.
