Infiniti G35 Side Marker Lights Issues
While you normally won't experience issues with your Infiniti G35 side marker lights, they do display problems every now and then. With that said, below are some of the issues that you may encounter.
If one of your Infiniti G35 side marker lights is flickering, its bulb may be loose. That's the first thing that you should check on when this happens as it's the most likely reason behind the problem. So yeah, make sure that the bulb is affixed securely.
However, if the flickering persists after fixing the bulb, then the wiring may be to blame. The wiring may either be loose or damaged, thus causing the flow of power towards the bulbs to be hindered. If it's merely loose, you should have no problem in reconnecting the wiring. If it's damaged, then you'd need a replacement for it.
One of your Infiniti G35 side marker lights has become fogged? That's not good since fogging can affect the illumination produced by your side marker light. And when that happens, there's only one thing to blame-moisture. There must be some sort of opening-a crack, a hole, or a gap-within the assembly that's why moisture was able to make its way inside your side marker light.
Fortunately, you can easily wipe off the fogging that's on your Infiniti G35 side marker light. But to prevent this from happening again in the future, make sure that the side marker light assembly is sealed properly. If there are any cracks or holes within the lens, you'll be left with no choice but to replace it.
If you're not getting enough illumination from both of your Infiniti G35 side marker lights, then there must be something wrong with your vehicle's electrical system. Dimming occurs because your electrical system isn't generating enough power for your side marker lights and your ride's other features. This only means that you have a faulty battery or alternator since your electrical system should be capable of handling all of your car's power requirements. Needless to say, the only way to fix this is to replace your battery or your alternator.
