What is Extend Product Protection? Why should I add it to my order?

With Extend’s affordable, stress-free protection plan, you can rest assured that your items are covered and can easily be replaced if needed, even after OEM (original equipment manufacturer) warranties expire (when applicable). Whether you find yourself in a fender bender, theft, or even if it's just time to swap out your part from normal wear, having to pay full cost for a replacement is one less thing you'll have to worry about. 

What happens to Product Protection, if I need to return an item?

You have 30 days to return your product. When you do, we will refund both your item and product protection.

When does my Extend Product Protection Plan begin?

Your plan will start when the Original Equipment manufacturer warranty expires. If this particular product does not have a warranty, then Extend will kick in immediately.

Can I purchase a protection plan for a product I have already bought?

Nope! You are all done!

When can I file an Extend Product Protection claim?

As soon as your plan starts (at the end of the OEM warranty or immediately if none was provided)! If you don’t remember, you can check out using this portal.

What do I need to provide if I file an Extend Product Protection claim?

When filing a claim with Extend, you’ll simply need to provide your contract ID, email address, or another identifying piece of information.
