I'd like to say $ has definitely got some really great prices. Now to see if quality is there. Disconnect housing and actuator are installed. Shipping was very quick. Very happy with that. The actuator fit and works perfectly! We were told on the site that it would arrive on Monday or Tuesday but didn't arrive until Friday, which held up our being able to use our vehicle. Besides ithe part arriving later than expected, everything was great!

Unbolt/plug old actuator- remove mounting bolts - transfer o ring seal from old unit to new unit - reinstall. Good luck - my replacement worked great...this unit is nearly identical to the GM unit in every way.

If you need guidance I suggest you go online and seek remove & replace
the actuator for your make & model year vehicle.
It is usually the same part # for several consecutive years.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Nov 03It is not a GM part but you'd be hard pressed to tell just by looking at it. Yes, the brand name is "Replacement". I bought one over a year ago and it still works great. Make sure you transfer the "o"ring gasket seal over from the old one. I would buy again.
