Mine was Black. It came with O-rings and the orifice tube in a small plastic bag. Mine was for a 1995 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5.3l engine

They should not be removed until you are ready to install the coil.
Make sure NO debris gets into the coil.

Answered by Steven P. / Thu, Feb 24There is nothing inside the caps when it is shipped. The condenser is empty. Once installed you can have it filled with the correct refrigerant.

If there is a chance you have metal shavings in the system, and you can't 100% flush and clean the condenser, then you should replace it. It's not that much more, and you guarantee a new and clean system. I suggest you keep all receipts of all the items, in case you have trouble in the future.
