Question: Will this reset the airbag light? Has never been deployedThaddeus / Mar 23, 2021
Hi Thaddeus,
There are multiple causes for that. If you have already diagnosed the vehicle and this is the part that was pinpointed, then yes, it will definitely remove the light. Check the link below for more information

Depends if this is the problem. One way to tell is does any of your buttons not work on your steering wheel? (Cruise, horn, radio buttons, etc) If not then that could mean you have a bad clockspring, and if you do, yes this will reset the light

Answered by Austin V. / Tue, Mar 23I had the air bag light on in my truck without the air bags going off and replaced the clock spring and after reconnecting the battery the light was out. Make sure you disconnect the battery before removing the air bag.

Answered by Nick S. / Tue, Mar 23This got that annoying airbag light to stop flashing and dinging ,, just be careful removing this,, disconnect battery before doing action and you’ll need a special puller

Answered by ron K. / Tue, Mar 23Question: I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota 5.2. My cruise control and horn does not work. Do you sell a clock spring for my vehicle? If so email me the info. ThanksDouglas M. / Sep 06, 2021
Hi Douglas, I'm glad to help you out. We currently don't offer this part for your 1994 Dodge Dakota. We suggest that you get the part from your local auto parts store. For maintenance parts, we have a sale on coolant/antifreeze. To get one for your vehicle, click this link: https://www.carparts.com/search?q=coolant
I hope this helps. Enjoy shopping.

Douglas, it sure sounds like you need a clock spring. I had to replace mine 0n a 2003 Dakota for the air bag light.

Answered by Bruce W. / Tue, Sep 07Question: Do these come centered already via magnetic encoder?Robert D. / Mar 23, 2024
Hi Robert, I'm pleased to assist you. Based on OE number 56045403AG, it does not come centered already via a magnetic encoder. You would need to center it manually. If you're interested in this part, use the link below to place your order while the part is in stock. Your order will come with a 30-day post-purchase price match guarantee. I hope this helps and enjoy shopping!
