this is the most i have ever dropped on an air filter... ever. however on accelerating it creates a whistling noise. for some this may not bother them but it drives me up a wall. sorry K&N back to the good old Fram for now.

Noticed an immediate increase in uphill power with 2.3 liter four cylinder Mazda/Ford motor, and 2-3 miles per gallon increase in fuel economy. Definitely worth the struggle with the a/c compressor hose to install the filter.

Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Aug 03You use the K&N recharge kit which is a soap spray that you let sit on the filter for a few minutes then carefully rinse it out then let air dry. You then spray on the K&N filter oil and it’s ready to use again.
