Pros: Easy to install, design is cooler than oem even though it's under an airbox, doesn't add noise
Cons: Doesn't add noise (both pro and con)
My car does feel a little quicker to accelerate and react to throttle input which is nice. Not sure if it's placebo or the "the box says 5 horsepower" thoughts affecting my judgement, but my butt dyno gives it a thumbs up.

After first fill up after installing the K&N in my VW TDI found my mileage has gone up approximately 3 mpg. The first 100 miles of the tank were with old paper filter so performance could possibly be even better. Very pleased.
