The alternator arrived the next day. It looked brand new. I installed it myself in less than 1 hour! After installation, I started my vehicle, the whining was gone, and the voltage was @ 14.4 volts. Took a long trip a few days later and the alternator works perfectly. They also provided a return shipment label so returning the core was easy. A simple repackaging and drop off @ FedEx.
