Easy to installAlternator, 3.8L, 6Cyl, 135 Amp, New, Qb Supreme

Easily changed out alternator and did not need to access tensioner pulley. Pulled on serpentine belt from front and was able to turn onto alternator pulley without any special tools. Alternator fit perfectly in existing bracket and connectors were correct.

I rec'd the unit on time and no damage as well. Quality-Built sent instructions on how to install as well. The pictures included with the instructions were of better quality than any Haynes manual I've ever seen!
Although its been a couple of weeks the alternator is doing well. I put my multimeter on the battery a couple of times after installation and the output has been within range both times.
If you need additional repair instructions, in my case a 2001 Ford Windstar SEL, there is an excellent video on YouTube showing the removal and installation for the alternator...

just wish I had his air wrench! The bolts were hard to get off without a good breaker/cheater bar nothing PB Blaster couldn't handle, lol!
