Question: 1998 ford windstar gear indicator not moving when i switch gears. the minivan does drive and works fine in reverse, drive, etc but the shifter gear lever doesnt move and i saw a part on carparts called a bracket, its metal and replaces the original plastic one that breaks. now i cant find the part on carparts of anywhere because i forgot the exact name, it was like $7 and its a small metal clip that goes around this black plastic dial that when you shift the lever for park, reverse, drive, this cable moves but since mine doesnt move i think my bracket is broken? sharonpasternak88  gmail98windstar / Jul 23, 2023
