Question: 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd  is stuck in first gear, is this the solenoid that will fix the problem?Andrew J. / May 13, 2021
Hi Patch, I'm glad to help you out. Yes. This part is guaranteed to fit the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 4L60E Transmission; 1-2, 2-3 Shift Solenoid. Low or dirty transmission fluid can cause a car to be stuck in the first gear of the automatic transmission. When the dirty transmission fluid is pushed through the solenoid, these small bits of metal become stuck in the solenoid and prevent it from closing, meaning that your vehicle will be stuck on first gear until the affected solenoid is replaced. I hope this helps. To order the part, click on the link below while the part is in stock and enjoy the savings of our ongoing sale today. Yes, it helped but there are valves behind the the solenoid that sometimes they get dirty & so they need to come out cleaned & then reinstalled but I would change the fluid because I’m sure it’s dirty. So I did all that & the transmission worked fine after that. So good luck & I hope that it works for you as it did me...

Question: what happens if not replaced in same place? 4l60e I may have replaced them in the wrong holesFrank C. / Oct 28, 2022
Hi Frank, I'm pleased to assist you. You will experience delayed gear shifting and a sense of pulling or slipping when trying to shift between gears. The vehicle will not downshift as you slow down. An inability for the solenoid valve to operate may prevent your car from downshifting, and the engine will continue to rev as you attempt to brake. If interested in this solenoid, use the link below to order at 58% off the regular price today while supplies last. I hope this is helpful.
