Fit the hoses and electrical connector, but the electric motor is smaller, so the factory clamp was too big on the electrical connector side of the motor, so had to add some rubber under the clamp. The hose side fits the stock clamp.

Will not work with factory mount on audi ttAuxiliary Water Pump

The motor housing is smaller than the factory pump causing the factory mount not to be used unless modified or in my case fabricated.
This is a big issue on the audi tt as it mounts to the fans housing and if isn't just right the fans will destroy the hoses and themselves.

Question: For this part does it matter that my car is a 6 cylinder 1.8T. Will this part work in my 2004 Jetta VW 6 cylinder 1.8T?Marie M. / Jun 26, 2024
Hi Marie, thanks for initiating contact. Based on our application guide, this is only for the 4 Cyl 1.8L. For the 2004 Volkswagen Jetta, there is only a 4 Cyl 1.8L and a 6 Cyl 2.8L. There is no 6-cylinder 1.8L. You have to determine if you have 4 or 6 cylinders. When you lift the hood, do you know how to count the cylinders?
