Axle went in smoothly and ended the grease sliding that’s I experienced with the old one with a torn boot. I had heard of issues related to incorrect parts and worried that since mine was for a CVT transmission car, I might have this but it was exactly right.
One warning is that as the axle is going in, the intermediate bearing housing will hang up on the engine block and its not obvious where the hang up is as the axle splines and spring clip is supposed to snap into place and it is easy to be fooled by the hang up being the bearing housing.
