Question: I have the Sync option and a screen in the front. I see the sensors in the back bumper but the car did not come with the camera. I would need some type of harness or would it be plugged in at the bumper and I would just need to modify the bumper? Also would the OS need to be updated? I know some cars it’s not just adding the camera sometimes you have to update the software also. The car is located in Colombia. Was bought used so there is no local dealership to ask. Hi Jens,
This can still be put on, but you have to improvise or do modification for the provision or hole placement for the Camera to be installed into. Since you do not have the camera originally, there is no provision to put the camera into. Plus, a wiring circuit for the camera has to be installed as well. You can consult your local automotive shop or dealership for this as well.
