Answered by Jeremy W. / Sat, Mar 19Go to YouTube and search PL5400 Toyota Tacoma installation. You’ll see how it all comes out. Then you can see how to switch the camera, it’s a couple small Phillips screws and a plug. Be careful with this one though…it worked for me but the picture is slightly crooked. Also there are some different cameras for different tailgate handles so do your research to make sure this one will fit. Good luck.

Answered by Matthew H. / Sun, Jul 25Or you can drop the tailgate and remove the star head screws that hold the panel on the tail gate. Once that is removed there is a small screw that holds the camera in place, remove that and unplug the other end.
Maybe a 20 minute job.
