Finding the right vendor.Blower Motor Resistor
5.0/5
You can't afford not to know these folks. They make it very clear helping one to choose the correct part and then ship it immediately at a very fair price. I received the product and saved myself a bit over $200 and all worked perfectly. Even if I made the wrong choice or it didn't work they will let me return it. I'll be using them again . . . and again.

Hi Marc, I'm pleased to assist you. The blower motor resistor is responsible for controlling the blower motor speed. If your blower motor does not turn off, it could be faulty thermostats, bad wiring, and stuck relays. We suggest having the vehicle checked by a certified mechanic for real-time diagnosis. Question: Where is it located?Joetta / Jan 21, 2021
Hi Sandra,
The blower motor resistor is usually situated near the blower motor which is at the back of the glove box passenger side dashboard inner portion. You can also refer to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about the part location, removal and installation. Still, it is best to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or dealership for this if you need to.
You can find more information here as well: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

Under the kick panel on the passenger side. You don’t need to remove the glove box just a few 7mm screws. It’s held in place by two 5.5mm screws. The prongs on the heat sink extend into the duct to maximize the cooling effect for the solid-state circuitry inside the plastic housing.
