In my '05 Tahoe it's under the glove box on the passenger side. It was kind of hard to get to but luckily I am very small

Question: my old original resister has pn 52408586 on it.  Will this unit fit and work properly?Don B. / Oct 12, 2020
Hi Don, This unit is a direct cross of OE 89019088, 89018596, 89018308, and 22807123. It is for A/C with manual air conditioning controls models without custom front floor console. To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Question: I changed my blower resister switch on 2001chevy Silverado and it worked perfect for one day then the next. Then the next day nothing works. What might be wrong now?A Shopper / Mar 13, 2021
Hi, The blower motor itself could be defective already. There are a lot of instances if your blower is malfunctioning intermittently, both the motor and the blower motor resistor is usually replaced at the same time if those parts have not been replaced for a long period already. Please refer to a trusted vehicle specific repair service manual if you one or can get one or borrow from somebody or a shop. The last best option is to have that checked by your local auto repair shop for careful troubleshooting and repair.
