Question: HVAC fan only works on high, what do I need to fix? New switch panel didn’t helpMarty B. / May 27, 2021
Hello! You most likely need a new blower motor resistor. The high setting generally bypasses the resistor, which is why it still works.

I couldn't say for sure if this will fit that particular vehicle my vehicle is a 2000 Cherokee sport your best way to tell would be visually comparing the two resistors keep in mind that the resistor coils are located inside the AC blower system so that it will be cool by the AC

Yes they sell this part also. Look it up under plug connections. It will probably be around twenty something dollars. But if you need it you need it. The Jeeps are famous for these pigtail connectors getting hot and melting and ruining the resistor also. Easy to replace though.

If you're unable to purchase the plug you may be able to separate the contacts from the melted portion of the plug and plug those wires individually where they normally would have been on the contact
