Works Great !Blower Motor Resistor
5.0/5
I replaced the blower motor and was found out it is highly advised to replace the resistor when you replace the blower motor, so I did. It fit my 2005 Honda Accord LX which is always my biggest concern when buying car parts online. I received it and it is as advertised and does fit! It was just a royal pain to remove the existing one and install the new one because there’s a piece of plastic sticking-out a couple inches in front of it which is perfectly positioned to prevent you from getting to the screws directly and easily with a screwdriver. But, after fighting with it and a lot of swearing, I was able to succeed. Sometimes I think Honda does that on purpose just to make it a pain it to do it yourself. Anyway, great buying experience and high quality parts! Will definitely consider buying my next part here!

Your resistor is located under your glove compartment on the passenger side. You'll need a socket set. Unplug your old resistor, take out the to screws that should be holding it in, and replace with new one. It's a 10 min fix. But if I were you, I'd change out the blower motor as well, especially, if it's the original. Then, you won't have to worry about the heat not working ever again.

Answered by Antwon B. / Tue, Dec 28The resistor I located behind the glove compartment. You remove the glove box and it is attached to the blower motor.
