The wrong resistor was sent. Come to find out my problem was the blower motor which was correct. I got my refund back with no problem. Good Job in customer service.

Question: Where is this resistor located on a 2001 Pathfinder LE?  Don't see it under the glove box near the blower motor.Andrew V. / Jun 04, 2021
Hi Andrew, I'm glad to assist you. The blower motor resistor is usually near the blower motor assembly itself. That is at the back of the glove box compartment. Please click the link below to order this part today and take advantage of the sale price at this moment. I hope this helps. Question: 2003 Nissan Pathfinder LE, fan is constantly on, speed controls have no effect. Will this fix the problem?HaliB / Mar 02, 2021
Hi Hali, This item controls the speed of the A/C blower. Please check with your local mechanic to verify if it is the blower motor resistor that needs replacement.

That was exactly the issue I had with my 03 pathfinder. I actually purchased a blower motor too but it was just the resistor. Super easy fix and super cheap from carparts - autozone was WAY more pricey. As far as trouble shooting goes this is a good investment to guide you in the process of elimination and much cheaper than a mechanic's hourly rate. It's all behind the glove box and it is a great opportunity to either replace your cabin air filter or add one like I did. I had to cut open the slot (with a utility knife) and used that metal tape stuff used on HVAC duct work since I had some laying around to seal it up. hope this helps.
