Question: I own a 2007 Ford expedition. Yesterday while I was driving the ac started blowing hot. Then it wouldn't come on at all. While I was driving it came on again and started working. But still wasn't blowing that cold. Today it's not blowing or working at all. I need help figuring out what's wrong?DaveMc179 / Jul 26, 2023
Hi David, thank you for reaching out. We recommend that a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement. Have a nice day.

If it's not where you can here the fan motor going all the time then you need the fan/blower compressor for the air conditioner and this resistor to make the air conditioner be cold. You can remove the dash glovebox door and listen to the fan/blower. Hope this helps.

Question: The middle blade on the original is a bit longer than the other blades. Does this matter?Aaron B. / Aug 15, 2020
Hello! Jeffrey is correct - different manufacturers use different heatsinks - it will not effect performance.

No. It is only a heat sink. It is designed to pull heat away from the resistor to keep the component cool so it doesn’t overheat. If there are any differences double check with the manufacturer that it is designed to fit the vehicle you are installing it to.
