I can only rate how it arrived, and it looks correct. it will be painted and installed around march sometime. I unfolded the ends and clamped areas of creases to straighten, I believe it will fit good. I hope so.

This bumper is not painted. This will have the textured gray finish like what GM originally installed on the 2002 Avalanche models with body claddings.

Hi Marc,
As per checking, our image is actually application specific. If that 2 almost rectangular holes on the lower portion of the bumper is where the tow hook is located. This bumper is with the tow hook holes. This aftermarket replacement bumper shows 2 important numbers-GM1000648 (partslink #) and 88944057(OEM part number). You can call your local dealership if the OEM and partslink numbers match with their database for your vehicle. Please provide your VIN to your local dealership so they can confirm this.

You missed mentioning what type of Avalanche it is, 1500 or 2500? This bumper will fit the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Z71 8 Cyl 5.3L For Models with Body Cladding but, will not fit the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500.
