Had injection mold seams that needed a little cleaning but fits and looks great. Thinner and more flexible than stock which works well if you ever bump against anything. More than happy for under $30]

So disappointed in the quality of this bumper. The edges that should be round are square and sharp instead. Even sanding and buffing didn’t help. We won’t be ordering from Carparts again.

Super thin plastic material picked up bumper from the middle and the whole bumper flexed a lot more than the original. The fitment doesn’t get any better doesn’t line up well and didn’t have the holes drilled in the right spots on the bottom

Question: I have a 1999 Chev. Corvette with 14,000 miles on it. Show quality pristine car. Oooopppps....I hit that curb and it's no longer pristine. I have been warned by more than one person not to use an after market bumper for this repair. Although they have told me to go with nothing other than OEM, I do have a great deal of trust in Rock Auto. I do show this car, so I will have judges looking at the car closely. I see that you claim to have a bumper that will fit and at a very reasonable price. That being said, please give me your opinion about my obvious concern. The shows start soon so I have to get a move on. My question for you is to give me your opinion on using this bumper that provided by Rock Auto? After purchasing this front bumper from you this customer is claiming that the bumper is super thin and when he picked it up in the middle apparently he felt that it flex way more than it should have. Hi Matthew, I'm glad to assist you. This front bumper cover comes folded. It is to save on shipping costs. Once you follow the simple procedure to unfold it, the rear bumper cover should be fine. These bumper covers are made of shape memory plastic and will eventually go back to their original shape after you put them under the sun for at least 2 hours. If there is no sun, you can apply heat to the affected area with a heat gun (just make sure not to overheat and melt the material).
