If you follow the instructions and keep a heat gun around you should be ok but I do recommend you do a really light sand , and prime it as well for a stronger bond and longer lasting finish

I didn't like the way they shipped the bumper it was folded on both ends. I set it in the garage and with the heat of summer it did unfold all but one ares on the bottom. We have not put it on the car yet we just finished painting.

Ready to paint...not quite!Front Primed Bumper Cover, With Turn Signal Light Holes

When I received this part I was ready to paint it and get it installed on my car. Unfortunately when I went to my local paint supply store they told me they have seen several of these types of bumpers. They told me that if you can wipe off the primer with a little thinner the paint will peel within 6 months. I wiped a corner of the bumper and the primer immediately came off. The cheapest I can find a proper treatment for a plastic bumper is $250.
