Question: My 2015 BMW 328xi needs this part replaced due to an accident with a raccoon. Can this part be installed without removing the front bumper cover assembly? May need to replace lower engine shield also.James L. / Apr 12, 2022
No. It's not possible. This piece need to install from back of the bumper. You don't have any access with bumper still on the car. There is a lot of tutorials online for how to remove F30 bumpers, it's not that difficult.

Answered by Xu H. / Tue, Apr 12I had to remove the front bumper assembly to install this part on my 2014 328i the clips that hold it in please are impossible to remove with the bumper attached to the car. Once removed, the installation was a breeze.
