This part is not for that. This is the main part of your rear bumper that the tow hitch bolts to from underneath right next to the hitch ball. I bought this and a bumper and the bumper already had this part included so now I have an extra rear bumper support that I don't need just sitting here.

This is just an OEM part that sits behind the chrome bumper cover. Some aftermarket companies sell light protector bezels if you really want that protection.
