Part was exactly a fit for my SUV. The packaging could be improved. Due to the sharp corner & weight, the part penetrated the end of the box. I received the package with the part loosely sticking out of the box.

Exactly what I ordered. Shipping is expensive, and FedEx is questionable most of the time. But, it was the part I needed and carparts.com makes it easy.

Question: part welded or bolted on?Bobby / Dec 14, 2020
Hi Robert, This is usually bolted on. We recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about the removal and installation. Still, it is best to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or dealership for this if you need to. You can find more information here as well: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/
