For the 2008 Chevrolet Colorado 5-cylinder 3.7L engine, there is only one camshaft position sensor used because this engine has a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) design, meaning there is only one camshaft to monitor. It does not have separate intake and exhaust sensors. This sensor (RC31160001) is for the single camshaft position sensor and should work effectively for your vehicle. This is the correct part number for your given vehicle application, aftermarket replacement with part number RC31160001.
