I'm definitely giving this product 5 stars. I've been dealing with this engine light regarding the catalytic converter for about 2 years. Every mechanic or auto shop were giving me estimates in the thousands. I took it upon myself to do the research on how it's done & it sure paid off. Hi Viorel, I'm glad to help you out. The P0430 code is a trouble code indicating that the oxygen sensor in the catalytic converter located in bank 2 (downstream) has detected that the converter is not working properly. This part fits the 2001 BMW 530i Base 6 Cyl 3.0L that has Federal-type emission. Check the "Vehicle Emission Control Information" sticker usually found underneath the hood to make sure the catalytic converter matches the emission of the vehicle label specifications. Federal emission stickers will say, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations". California emissions will state, "This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA and State of California regulations".
