I'm definitely giving this product 5 stars. I've been dealing with this engine light regarding the catalytic converter for about 2 years. Question: I bought a Evan Fischer catalytic converter for 2008 gmc sierra 5.3 engine and still have PO420and PO430 codes showing up still Is Evan Fischer a good catalytic converter? Why did it not get rid of my codes?Tim K. / Oct 10, 2022
Probly cause it an aftermarket part mine did the same thing then took it to a different shop and it was fine after I got it redone from manifold back to the tip

I bought the same, ran fine for about 6 months, now I’m having codes as well. Changed sensors and still getting codes.

Only gm converters will work to clear the po430 and po420 codes. The after market converters will not work.

It did not work for me either I put a 90 degree elbow on the 02 sensor this worked about 2 months

I know that it is cheap thats why I bought it i would pay more next time

It does not come with sensors. I used the old sensors off of the old y pipe.

No welding required all hardware bolts and nuts are included. BUT! The gasket donut that comes with the kit that goes into one of the catalytic converter flanges, SUCKS. Will leak! Keep old one or get one that is not mesh like the one that comes in the kit. The ring gasket works fine
