You need to find the correct part to fit but will it fix your trouble code? That depends. Generally you start by testing and/or replacing the 02 sensor in the bank 1 sensor 2 location. Next check for oil buildup in the air intake box and in the intake manifold. These engines have a design flaw that causes carbon buildup on the valves and that causes blow by which in turn causes engine pressure to build up internally causing oil to vent through the PVC valve into the intake manifold box and then back to the intake manifold. Over time the valves begin to burn. Once a hole has formed in an exhaust valve then your O2 sensor will read the excess oxygen and throw the P0420 code. Millions of GM models were sold with this engine and defect. Best of luck.

It should fit your bank 2. But don’t know if it will work. I just bought this last week (March 2023) for my Chevy Traverse 2012 Bank 2. It fit ok but not US made. Made in Philippines and not the best quality. Mechanics told me that my P0430 code was a result of a bad CAT. But when I put this in, the code came back. Could be the new CAT or maybe something else. Do not know for sure yet.
