I'm definitely giving this product 5 stars. I've been dealing with this engine light regarding the catalytic converter for about 2 years. Question: I ordered the exhaust manifold for my 2000 Toyota Avalon and both of the gaskets came with this “felt” or carpet covering on them. No idea if this is a part of the gasket or it needs to be peeled off? Can’t find anything online and the covering doesn’t seem to be peeling off easily.Aidan / Feb 03, 2024
Hi Aidan, I'm glad to assist you. This is the first time I had feedback about a gasket like what you were explaining. As pictured, those are all that you should receive. Other than that, the other things you see should be part of the packing and insulation. That can be removed.
