Question: I have a 2003 Ford F-150 V8 5.4 Liter FX4 and I am currently trying to get my A/C fixed. I had a mechanic replace the compressor, A/C condenser, orifice tube and vacuum out the old Freon and put new Freon in. All of that didn’t fix my A/C problem which is that when I turn on the A/C to “max A/C” it won’t come out through the vents only form the defrost.
So we replaced the climate control module and the A/C still won’t come out through the vents only the defrost. Any suggestions? Is it the vacuum seal? Is it a faulty climate control module? Or something else? Please help me!Cody E. / Oct 14, 2022
Hi Cody,
It sounds like one of the doors in the HVAC unit isn't working. A service manual should have test procedures.
