Coupled with a Taylor helix power tower plus and short tube headers this product really pulls power from a stock 318. Other companies make cold air intakes and they do not fit well at all. This intake fits like a glove.!

I bought this for my 02' Dakota to get a little more power out of it. It works great. I imediately felt the difference in the take off. Great response from mid/high range on the highway. May look into getting a throttle plate spacer. Still looking into that to see if it would make a diference in the my low end response.Seems to be a little better gas mileage just by how far the gas is going. Have not filled up yet to determine the mileage increase if any. To be determined.

I've had this on my Dak for 10 years now. This is superior to the stock set up. Improved throttle response and a slight increase in MPG. Installation is a breeze. The only downside is I'm on my third intake tube. It cracks around the bolt at the top of the intake. K&N has been great and has replaced the tube twice with no problems. I was told there was a problem with the supplier and it was rectified. I have had no cracking with this tube in over five years so maybe they got it figured out.

this is the easiest way to improve throttle response and fuel economy. very nice step by step directions and you don't need many tools.
