Question: I have a 2020 Dodge Durango RT with the vented hood scoop on it. I am reading a lot about the water getting into the air filter is this true with this cold air intake ?Joshua L. / Jul 28, 2021
Hi Joshua, I'm glad to help you out. This cold air intake is guaranteed to fit the 2020 Dodge Durango R/T 8 Cyl 5.7L. The air cold air intake is not the issue. The reason water (rain or car wash) will get into it is because of the vented hood scoop. To alleviate the water, you can put a level on the base and see where the water leads, then put a small hole and hose to lead the water out and drain to keep the other parts of the engine safe and protected. Unfortunately, this is designed for up to 2020 Dodge Durango only. We do not carry one for the 2021 5.7 liter engine.
