This is the second gear shift I had to purchase..the first one I installed in November..but it broke in half ,with only the 3 screws holding the part in loosely.
The stock part installed in the GMC factory was much much stronger. I would have pulled a used one from a junk yard if they weren't snow covered.I will do that the next time this part fails...which won't be long!

It is guaranteed to fit the 5-speed automatic transmission (column shifter), there is no mention of compatibility with a tilt steering. We do not have any other option other than this one. It matches OEM part numbers, 26047466, 26047559, 26047728, 26050844, 26091246, and 8260508440. Check with your local dealer what OEM part number is in your truck.
