This does not fit on a 2018 Honda OdysseyRadiator Fan - 4 Cyl., 2.2L Engine, Replaces Denso Type

It almost does. This was the fan that was recommended as a fit for my van. It is a 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite. It has the same mount holes but unless you modify it, it is NOT a drop in replacement. The cross beam that runs behind the fan prevents you from putting it in. I had to cut some of the plastic off of the shroud in order for it to go in. Also, the plug is incorrect. It will not fit to the connector that is in the van. The blades are in the incorrect orientation and the plug housing is the same size so that they won't even go together. Luckily, I was able to cut the plug off of the old fan that I took out and soldered it in place of the bad plug that was on the fan. Once those modifications were made, the fan fit into place and plugged in. It worked great after that but unless you are ready to put in some extra work, this won't fit as is.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Jul 19I think you are wrong. The 3.8 had only one fan speed, on or off, and had a two pin connector. The 5.0 used a two speed motor and had a 3 pin connector. Using a 3.8L fan on a 5.0 will cause intermittent overheating because one circuit is missing. Using a 5.0 fan in a 3.8 would be not be a problem as the extra circuit would not be used. I suspect that all fans got updated to the 5.0 style 3 pin just so they would not need to stock and build multiple fans and that the listing got screwed up. Not willing to take that chance though, I will look for the fan that's properly listed unless somebody can verify that high and low speeds work on this unit.

This is not compatible, only fits a 6 cylinder 3.8 Liter 2005 Ford Mustang base. The correct one matching your 8 cylinder 5.0 Liter is with part number RB620128, by Dorman, one of our premium brands with lifetime warranty.
