Question: Do this have the fan relay attached to the assembly?Percy B. / Nov 15, 2020
Hi Percy, The relay should be on the main fuse box located on the engine bay side driver or the if not, on the driver side kick panel lower portion. Still, we recommend referring to a trusted vehicle specific repair manual for details about the removal and installation of this part and location of the cooling fan relay.. Also, one best option is to consult your trusted local auto repair shop or dealership for this if you need to. You can find more information here as well: https://www.carparts.com/blog/why-you-should-always-consult-a-repair-manual/

I think what Percy is asking is if the electronic switch that is turned on with the purple signal wire is included on the fan, and yes it is. This is usually the part that fails on the fan rather than the fan itself. The electronic switch either will not activate the fan resulting in overheating or the switch will allow the fan to run continuously even after the car has been shut off, resulting in a dead battery. This is a tricky install, just so you know, especially on a turbo vehicle.

Yes, but there may be another relay in the fuse box too.
