The cv boot looks the same to what is on my car,but will not work. The boot on my car has a different configureation
then the new one in the inside edge of the large open end
of boot to hold the grease. Need to show three pictures
of item instead of one so one can see more views.

Hi Denny, I'm glad to assist you. Not necessarily. The boot could have become brittle over time only lately and got torn by itself, or debris from the road could have damaged it only recently.
