Hi Josh, I'm glad to assist you. Please use a magnifying glass to see if the imprints were just too small to see. Examine the gasket for any markings or indicators that suggest a specific orientation. These markings may include "UP," "TOP," or other directional arrows. You can pass by an auto repair shop and ask which side is UP. I hope this helps!
