Question: The head gasket that I received, the RS31250009, has these brass rivets holding the gasket together. The gasket I just took off does not have them. Do I put the new gasket on with those rivets attached?Robert / May 03, 2021

Answered by Aldrin P. / Mon, May 03Yes Jared that's correct. The gaskets you took off are a single layer style, where these are MLS(multi-layer-steel) style,where the layers are held together with the rivets. The MLS gaskets are a better, updated kind.
