The part came in quickly and was installed that day. Although it didn't have the removable crown to match with the other mirror or the color of the car body, it still blends in well.

Only installed for one week but so far, I am very impressed! This mirror was priced at a fraction of the dealer price, so I was somewhat skeptical of the quality. The original mirror on our Honda CRV was damage at the base. After reviewing the shape of this mirror compared to the original, I decided to take a chance. The original Honda mirror was fine, with the damage isolated to the base that is mounted to the door. I was able to swap the base on the new mirror with the old broken mirror base. The original mirror was undamaged and fully functional and was also color matched to the car, so that’s why I wanted the original mirror. After some wire wrangling and reconnecting the harness plugs, we were back in business. Fit and finish is perfect!
Car Parts/JC Whitney was super fast on shipping and the part came packaged very well to prevent damage in shipping. Will certainly use them again in the future.

So far the quality of the product is very good and I have no problem to operate it. The product by itself is not matching the color of the original cover. It was a warning on description that is painted only in black. Anyway I ordered it.

We don't do painting on our body parts and only ship them primed. We suggest having it painted locally so they can correctly match the shade of your paint.

My mirrors were black to begin with and had a shiny finish. The replacement mirror matched original exactly. You can probably paint but it’s hard plastic and finished

Question: I ordered this item and it came with the mirror not attached to the rest of the assembly. Is it supposed to come this way? does this mirror just snap into place. The mirror attachment on the back looks differeent (it is a circular mount)Richard H. / May 27, 2022

This mirror did snap into the assembly on my 1999 Silverado. I struggled with it because I was afraid of breaking it, but when my mechanic snapped it into place it only took him a few seconds. Great low price option compared to alternatives.
